Quincy Man Charged With Sexual Abuse

A Quincy man appeared in court Friday on charges he allegedly touched a juvenile inappropriately.  Quincy Police arrested 38 year-old Charles E. DeWeese on Thursday.  Police executed a search warrant at DeWeese’s home on Payson Avenue.  The investigators discovered hidden cameras and microphones in the residence.

The investigation began when the Department of Children and Family Services reported the alleged activity to Quincy Police.

DeWeese is charged with aggravated criminal sexual abuse.  He posted bond and is set to reappear in court Friday, May 12.
