Quincy Man Arrested on Child Pornography Warrant

A three-month investigation by Quincy Police results in the arrest of a Quincy man on child pornography charges.

QPD reports that 61 year old Martin Wiskur was taken into custody without incident at 2 p.m. Wednesday.

Wiskur was arrested on outstanding Adams County warrants for two counts of dissemination of child pornography and one count of failure to register as a sex offender.

The investigation into Wiskur began in August when Quincy Police and the Illinois Attorney General’s office received a tip about suspected child pornography images being shared via social media.

Wiskur is lodged in the Adams County Jail on $250,000 bond.
