The Quincy City Council Monday night approved and extended COVID-19 guidelines for restaurants in the city.

With phase four of the state guidelines in place, allowing limited indoor dining, the council voted to extend the Phase Three guidelines, continuing to allow outdoor dining with restrictions.

In other business, the council approved a request to stage a street fair on July 4th on Front Street between Broadway and Maine, with live entertainment and food vendors.

Face masks and social distancing will be encouraged for the event.
