Proof The Tri-States Has Good Taste When it Comes to Rom-Coms
I just love me a good Rom-Com, I could watch them all day long. I mean I am obsessed with the Hallmark Movie Channel.
Around this time of year, I think all of us love watching Rom-Coms, this is the month of love. IMDB says that the current most popular Rom-Com out is Licorice Pizza, at this moment, is the best of the best when it comes to Rom-Coms. Yup, I've watched it, don't judge me. There are hundreds if not thousands of Rom-Com movies to watch, so, comparitech put together a map of the most popular movies in each state.
In my opinion, I think the Tri-States got it right. Iowans like to watch She's All That, and the 90s classic Teen Rom-Com movie, and you can now watch the sequel He's All That on Netflix. That one is still on my wish list to watch.
No surprise, Sixteen Candles takes the top stop in Illinois. I true classic teen Rom-Com. The 1984 classic movie follows Samantha (nope not me) on her 16th Birthday which becomes anything but special, and tons of embarrassing moments.
Missouri, you shock me with your top pick, Tangled. Yes, the Disney animated movie is all about the long-haired Princess Rapunzel. I would never consider this a Rom-Com, I mean yes she finds love at the end of the movie (sorry spoiler alert) but it's really all about her watching the floating lights for her birthday while finding out who she really is.
Grease, Sixteen Candles, Just One of the Guys, Real Genius, Coming to America, Prety Woman, Life is Beautiful, and As Good As It Gets seem to be the best of the best when people watch Rom-Coms. So, this weekend when you have nothing to do, grab your sweetie and watch one, if not all, of these Rom-Coms and celebrate Valentine's Day just binge-watching movies.
