Police Conduct Quincy Alcohol Compliance Check

The Illinois Liquor Control Commission and the Illinois State Police conducted an alcohol compliance check in Quincy on December 20th.

Of the 23 businesses checked, 20 were found to be in compliance.

The Quincy businesses cited for non-compliance were County Market on Broadway, Wilco Fast Break on State Street and County Market Express on South 36th Street.

Authorities perform the periodic checks to see that there is ongoing compliance with state laws mandating that liquor sales to anyone under the age of 21 is against the law.
