Pick-Up Crash Kills New London Man

(Bowling Green) – A New London is dead as the result of a one vehicle crash on U.S. 61 north of Bowling Green at 5:29 this (Thursday) morning.

The Highway Patrol reports that 42-year-old Andrew Leake was northbound when his pick-up left the roadway, struck a culvert, went airborne and began to overturn, ejecting Leake from the truck. Leake was not wearing a seat belt.

Leake was pronounced dead at the scene by Pike County Coroner Jim Turner.
