“People Helping People” the United Way

HANNIBAL -- After sorting through more than 50 entries, the United Way of the Mark Twain Area announced its new campaign slogan Wednesday morning.
The winning slogan is 'People Helping People'.
Monica Williams and William Reisch both submitted the slogan, and both get a 50 dollar gift card.
United Way leaders say they chose the slogan because they felt it embodies all that United Way and its partner organizations do in the Mark Twain area.
The campaign slogan will appear on T-shirts, brochures, and other items to raise support for the 2012-2013 United Way fundraising campaign.
The campaign officially kicks off in September.
