Palmyra Electricity to be Shut Off for Repairs Saturday Night

Residents of Palmyra will be without power late tonight and early Sunday morning.

The Marion County Sheriff’s Office reports electricity will be shut off in Palmyra from 11 p.m. Saturday through 1 a.m. Sunday.

The Palmyra Board of Public Works will be doing repair work during that time.

The Sheriff’s office reports phone service will be interrupted at the Marion County Jail during those hours. That means that all 911 calls in that period will go through Marion County 911.
