Thanks to a major solar storm that is underway as of this writing, you can barely see the Northern Lights which are visible even from parts of northern Missouri and there's video to prove it.

Dan Bush from the Missouri Skies YouTube channel is running a live camera Monday night as a major G3 solar storm is happening right now. If you watch his stream beginning at approximately the 22:49 mark, you'll see the Aurora Borealis begin to be visible on the horizon from his position in Albany, Missouri.

This is a screenshot from Dan's live feed showing the Northern Lights appear reddish/pinkish on the northern horizon.

According to Dan's description, this is located at 40.25 Degrees North Latitude. There are reports of the Northern Lights as far south as Oklahoma Monday night according to meteorologist Lacie Lowry.

You can check NOAA's Aurora Borealis experimental dashboard to find out when these brilliant lights will be visible over Missouri.
