North Central Missouri Mountain Lion

(GRUNDY COUNTY)--A mountain lion sighting earlier this month has been confirmed by the Missouri Department of Conservation. The owner of property in Grundy County-in north central Missouri-captured an image with a trail camera, and reported it; members of a special team from the MDC went to the sight this week and confirmed the presence of the animal from physical evidence. Its the third confirmed sighting this year-the two others were in southeast Missouris Reynolds County.
