Criminal charges will not be filed against a school employee in connection with a March incident at a Quincy grade school.

In a press release, Adams County State’s Attorney Gary Farha says that after reviewing police and school incident reports, his office has determined that the filing of criminal charges are not appropriate. Farha conceded that while a violation of Quincy School District policy may have taken place, there was not sufficient evidence for criminal charges.

The incident on March 24th allegedly involved a student and a cafeteria employee at Adams School.

The employee reportedly no longer works for the district.
