New Hannibal Jaycees Property

(HANNIBAL)—The Hannibal Jaycees now have a permanent location for Tanyard Gardens during National Tom Sawyer Days, their annual Haunted House and other activities.

The Jaycees have purchased the former Smith Central Plumbing property at 320 South Third. Jaycees president Chris Harsell says the prudent planning of the haunted house committees ultimately made the purchase possible.

The Jaycees say they still need to work with the city on acquiring use of a nearby parking lot for the carnival and use of Lyon Street for various National Tom Sawyer Days events.
