Nearly 30 Dogs Rescued from Missouri Breeder, Many Injured
According to reports, it took a dozen hours to accomplish, but nearly 30 dogs were rescued from a Missouri breeder with many of the animals showing terrible injuries.
FOX 2 St. Louis shared the story of the Humane Society of Missouri as teams traveled from Maryland Heights to Ozark County on a rescue mission. They report it was a formerly licensed breeder with animals in allegedly different states of abuse and neglect.
As their video report showed, many of the animals had visible wounds that needed immediate veterinary treatment.
They also say that while some of the animals will be ready for adoption soon, others will need weeks of care to understand that not all humans intend to harm them.
As we've shared previously, statistics show that Missouri is the worst state in America for improper puppy mills and a number of poodles were recently saved from one also. It's sadly a problem that doesn't appear it will go away any time soon. For now, at least these 29 dogs can look forward to being adopted by kind homes as soon as they're ready.
