Monroe City Man Dead Following Early Morning Crash

A pickup truck crash at 12:01 Monday morning claims the life of a Monroe City man.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol says a pickup driven by 61-year-old Floyd Buckman went off Monroe County Road 583 three and a half miles southwest of Monroe City, hit an embankment and overturned. Troopers say Buckman was pronounced dead at the scene by Monroe County Coroner James Reinhard.
