Four Missouri state high school football champions were crowned Friday, with three more championships to be decided Saturday.

In action at the Edward Jones Dome in St. Louis Friday, The eight-man title was taken by Stanberry with a 46-42 win over North Andrew.

The Class 4 title went to Kearney, as they knocked off Webb City 17-14.

Lamar successfully defended its Class 2 state championship with a decisive 37-0 victory over Malden.

And, in Class 6, Blue Springs South prevailed with a 37-28 win over CBC.

Saturday's action begins with the Class 3 title game, pitting John Burroughs against Odessa at 11 a.m. The Class 1 championship features Valle Catholic and Penny at 2:15 p.m. Rounding out the day's action is the Class 5 title game with Chaminade taking on Fort Osage.
