Missouri and Iowa Governors to Speak at 10th Tri State Summit

Waterways, transportation and regionalism are themes for the 10th Tri State Development Summit early next month on the Hannibal LaGrange University campus.

Event organizers say Missouri Governor Jay Nixon and Iowa Governor Terry Branstad are scheduled to speak at the event. The summit brings together leaders from 35 counties in northeast Missouri, west central Illinois and southeast Iowa.

The four hour session begins at 10 a.m. at the Roland Fine Arts Center on the Hannibal LaGrange University campus.
