McGee Takes Over as Quincy University President
The new president of Quincy University officially began his tenure Monday.
Monday was the first official day on the job for Dr. Brian McGee, taking over for now President Emeritus Phil Conover.
Since he was appointed last December, Dr. McGee has spent time in Quincy meeting with various campus constituencies.
Prior to coming to QU, McGee had been provost and executive vice president at the College of Charleston in South Carolina. He has been a university administrator and professor for over 25 years.
