One of the biggest fundraising events of the campaign season for the United Way of the Mark Twain Area comes to KHMO on Saturday, October 4.

Local and area businesses have stepped up with thousands of dollars worth of merchandise of all shapes and sizes that will all be up for bid Saturday from 8 a.m. until noon.

There will be a variety of eatery gift certificates, from Fiddlestiks to Chocolaterie Stam to the Monroe City Nutrition Center. Wal-Mart has donated a TV, and, of course, General Mills has donated 500 cases of Progresso Soup.
