Mark Twain Commemorative Coin Legislation Signed

(WASHINGTON)—That Mark Twain commemorative coin is officially on the way. President Obama signed the act to create the coin into law Wednesday. Proceeds from coin sales benefit Mark Twain related sites in Hannibal, Hartford Connecticut, Elmira New York and Berkeley California.

Mark Twain Boyhood Home and Museum Executive Director Cindy Lovell says congressman Blaine Luetkemeyer and Senators Roy Blunt and Claire McCaskill ‘s leadership were instrumental in making the creation of the special coin possible.
