Those who find themselves unemployed, underemployed or just ready for a change are invited to a special event Thursday.

The annual Mark Twain Area Career Expo and Veteran Resource Fair runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursday at the Admiral Coontz Recreation Center on Warren Barrett Drive.

There will be representatives from a number of businesses on hand, ready to take applications and conduct job interviews on the spot Thursday.

The Career Fair is free to the public, and is sponsored by the Missouri Career Center, the Hannibal Area Chamber of Commerce and the Hannibal Parks and Recreation Department.
