Marching MIZZOU Celebrates Alumni’s Rock & Roll HOF Nomination
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame recently announced their 2023 nominees and one artist from Missouri made a list.
Sheryl Crow, from Kenneth, Missouri, has received the high honor of being one of this year's nominees for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Sheryl's alma mater Mizzou went on social media to congratulate their famous alumni.
Sherly attend the University of Missouri and sang in a local band called Cashmere. She was also a member of the Kappa Alpha Theta sorority, Sigma Alpha Iota International Music Fraternity for Women, and the Omicron Delta Kappa Society. She graduated in 1984 with a Bachelor of Science Education degree in music education. Sherly is not the only famous celebrity to attend MIZZOU, Brad Pitt, Jon Hamm, Tennessee Willimas, and more.
Sherly is among a large list of nominees, also making the list this year include Willie Nelson, Iron Madien, Missy Elliot, The Spinners, Cyndi Lauper, A Tribe Called Quest, Rage Against the Machine, George Michael, and more. We will find out who's in at this year's celebration which will take place in May.
