Lewis County Robbery and Weapons Arrests

(MONTICELLO)—Lewis County Sheriff’s deputies report two weapons arrests in recent days. 60-year-old Margaret Fountain of Knox City is held on 100-thousand dollars cash only bond after authorities say she pointed a handgun at a woman and demanded money on October 11.

A call regarding a man displaying a shotgun in a threatening manner results in the arrest of a LaBelle man. The Lewis County Sheriff’s Department says 62-year0-old Hubert White of LaBelle is charged with unlawful use of a weapon. He’s held on 10-thousand dollars cash only bond. Highway Patrol troopers assisted in the case.
