Lawn Mower Hit By Pickup Truck

(LEWISTOWN)—A collision involving a lawn tractor and a pickup truck a mile south of Lewistown at 11:43 Saturday morning results in moderate injuries for Lewistown man. The Missouri Highway Patrol says a lawn tractor operated by 32 year old Jeffery Smith of Lewistown was turning around in the roadway when it was hit by a pickup truck driven by 47 year old David Moss of Bethel when Moss was unable to stop in time. Smith was taken to Blessing Hospital in Quincy for treatment.
