Failed Brakes

(QUINCY)—Brake failure results in a two vehicle collision at Columbus Road and Wismann Lane just northeast of Quincy at 10:44 Saturday evening. Adams County Sheriff’s deputies say a pickup driven by a 17 year old juvenile was unable to stop and collided with a pickup driven by 21 year old Jerek Jones of Quincy as it  was stopped at a stop sign. A passenger in Jones pickup—21 year old Kayla Livengood of Fairbury Illinois was taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment of minor injuries. Deputies say the juvenile driver was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident.
