A student at Mark Twain High School pleaded guilty Monday to making a terrorist threat in connection with a February incident.

The Ralls County Prosecutor’s Office reports that 17 year old Tyler Lanier of Center pleaded guilty Monday to Making a Terrorist Threat in the Second Degree.

On February 10th, Ralls County R-2 School District officials notified Ralls County Sheriff’s deputies of an alleged threat against Mark Twain Junior-Senior High School posted on Snapchat.

An investigation led to the arrest of Lanier.

After the guilty plea, Judge Rachel Bringer Shepherd ordered a Sentencing Assessment Report and set sentencing for July 2nd.
