We have spent a lot of time over the years at KHMO talking about the Kids in Motion and Teens in Motion programs, the unique programs for at-risk grade school and high school students in Hannibal.

These young people have done smaller projects for us in the past, but this week, they are taking on the considerable task of brightening up our studios and offices.

About a dozen KIM kids, along with leaders and a supervising contractor, are giving our vast expanse of 50-plus year old wood paneling a fresh coat of paint.

During their time in Kids/Teens in Motion, these young people learn responsibility and the value of a job well done. The work crew that is working on our walls (even as we speak), are all fully focused on the job at hand and having a good time in the process.

To see this program that we have devoted so much airtime to in practice just confirms that what we've been telling you about Kids/Teens in Motion is absolutely true ... and then some.
