KHMO Sports Schedule: How to Follow the Canton Tigers, Marion County Lady Mustangs & Missouri Tigers

Following a Thursday in which the Missouri Tigers held on to win a nail-biter, the Marion County Lady Mustangs ran into a buzzsaw and the Canton Tigers lost a heartbreaker, here is chapter two of how you can follow any or all of those ball clubs Friday.

Marion County plays Chadwick at 11 this morning for third place in the Class 1 state tournament at Mizzou Arena. That game can be heard online only at Network1Sports.com.

Mizzou meets the number one team in the country, The Florida Gators, in the SEC Tournament at noon in the Georgia Dome. We will join that game at noon on KHMO. That game can be heard only on AM 1070, we are not allowed to stream Mizzou sports online.

Tonight, Canton takes on Thayer for the third place in the Class 2 state tourney, also at Mizzou Arena. Game time is 7:45 p.m., and that contest can be heard both on-air and online.

Between the Missouri Tigers, Marion County Lady Mustangs and Canton Tigers, KHMO's Thursday programming schedule is somewhat complicated. Here is guide to following your favorite basketball team on March 12. 

First, there's the Missouri Tigers' first-round SEC Tournament game with Texas A&M at the Georgia Dome. Game time is noon, and we'll join the Tiger Network broadcast right after Bids for Bargains, just in time for tip-off. Keep in mind that the Mizzou game will be on NewsTalk 1070 ONLY - we cannot stream Mizzou online.

Then, the Marion County Lady Mustangs will take on Walnut Grove in the Class 1 Girls High School Basketball State Semi-Finals at Mizzou Arena. Game time is 1:40 p.m. That game will be heard online ONLY. Listeners will need to visit our page on Network 1 Sports to hear the webcast of that game. The red "listen live" button in the upper right of your screen will be carrying regular KHMO talk programming.

Finally, the Canton Tiger Boys will meet Iberia in the Class 2 State Semi-Finals at the Hearnes Center. Game time is 8:20 p.m. and Bill Shuler will have the play-by-play on NewsTalk 1070 AND on khmoradio.com.

By the way, if Mizzou wins Thursday, they will play again at noon Friday.

If Marion County loses Thursday, they will play at 11 a.m. Friday. If they win, they will play at 11 a.m. Saturday.

If Canton loses Thursday, they will play at 7:45 p.m. Friday. If they will, they will play at 8:10 p.m. Saturday.

The Friday high school games would be for third place; the Saturday games would be for the state championship.
