Eating healthy and losing weight is not easy. It's so much easier to eat like crap. Healthy food is much harder to prepare. Plus, it costs a lot more money to purchase. That can immediately discourage people.
One of the highlights of the summer in Illinois is going to festivals, especially ones involving food. There are so many tasty things to eat but unfortunately, the majority of the offerings aren't good for you.
If you're trying to eat better, you might find it very difficult to eat healthy at a food festival in Illinois. When you do find a better alternative, you're going to feel left out as your friends and family are enjoying junk food.
Well, for anyone trying to eat better but are also attempting to consume healthy food, there is finally a festival where you'll fit in without a problem. It's much easier to stay on track when you're hanging out with like-minded people.
I'm talking about Veggie Fest in Illinois. It's being held on August 10th and 11th at Danada South Park in Lisle. It's free admission and parking. The event features live music, activities, food demos, vendors, special guest speakers, and most importantly delicious but healthy food.
