FBI Hunts Southern Illinois Gang Suspect Armed With Machine Gun

It's not that unusual for the FBI to be after an armed suspect in Illinois, but it is not typical for the southern part of the state. That's what's happening now as the FBI is after a gang suspect in southern Illinois who is reportedly armed with a machine gun.

The FBI just issued a bulletin on their Most Wanted Facebook page alerting everyone in Illinois to a potentially dangerous fugitive on the run. Here's what they just shared:

"The FBI offers a reward of up to $15,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of Dontay R. Moore, Jr., an alleged gang member wanted in connection with the unlawful possession of a machine gun in Southern Illinois"

The most wanted poster for Dontay R. Moore, Jr. reveals more details of why the FBI is after him. It says he is "allegedly a local member of, and a high-ranking violent enforcer for, the Lundy Mob gang in Southern Illinois. He is allegedly linked to violent assaults, weapons trafficking, and narcotics distribution".
