See the New Dragon Run Coaster Rising at Oasis Ozarks

There's a new metal beast rising at the Lake of the Ozarks, but it's not one to be feared. It's a rollercoaster meant to be fun for your family and there are pictures to show how construction is coming along.

Huge thanks to Oasis Lake of the Ozarks reaching out to me and making pictures available showing "Dragon Run", a new rollercoaster being built that's inspired by the shape of the lake itself. They say this huge coaster "will feature nearly 1,500 feet of track, speeds up to 42 mph and two underground dives".  The kicker is it will be accessible to families as long as you can measure up to the 42 inch height requirement.

“The lake's distinctive shape has influenced the design of Oasis from the very beginning,” said Todd Schneider, operating partner of Oasis Lake of the Ozarks. “We couldn't think of a better way to celebrate one of Missouri's most recognizable landmarks than by creating a signature coaster that captures its sweeping curves and adventurous spirit. We wanted a coaster that families could enjoy side by side,” Schneider said. “Dragon Run delivers plenty of excitement while remaining accessible to multiple generations.”

Oasis Lake of the Ozarks will be an epic destination once completed including an observation wheel that's almost 200 feet high, Missouri's largest indoor water park and a 401-room Marriott resort.
