America's Most Dangerous Gang Now Has a Presence in Illinois

This is trouble that Illinois does not need. There is evidence that what law enforcement considers America's most dangerous gang now has a presence in the Land of Lincoln.

If you've driven through the wrong parts of Chicago or East St. Louis, it's not breaking news that gangs rule some of those streets. However, there's a different type of gang that is apparently making its presence known there according to reports. They are known as the Mara Salvatrucha or MS-13. As 24/7 Wall St. mentions, they are the most dangerous gang in the nation.

What proof is there that MS-13 is in Illinois?

MS-13 in Illinois is no rumor, but proven fact. As ABC7 in Chicago reported last year, a high-ranking MS-13 member pled guilty to murder last July. There are also new reports earlier this year from ICE crackdowns that found MS-13 members in Illinois and specifically the Chicago area. The fact that the most violent gang in America is now a part of the mean streets of Chicago and possibly now East St. Louis is a recipe for disaster for law enforcement.
