You really should start mentally preparing yourself now as weather looks like it could start getting wild in Missouri and you won't have to wait long to see it happen if computer models are correct.

One of the most entertaining internet weather personalities is Ryan Hall of the Ryan Hall Y'all YouTube channel. He has just seen what he describes as a "plot twist" coming to the current weather patterns and Missouri looks to be right in the middle of where the action will happen.

According to Ryan "all heck is about to break loose" once we get to around December 10 and December 11. This is a wind speed chart which would also include a very good possibility of severe thunderstorm development across all of Missouri.

Yet another trough is expected to impact Missouri just 3 days later. This is what December 14 looks like with more storms possible.

But wait, there's more to come for Missouri...

This is the temperature drop that is expected to hit Missouri on Wednesday, December 18.

That's a pocket of between 30 to 40 degrees below normal. Watch Ryan's explanation of all this as he's better at translating the who, what, where and why of weather than I am.

As he emphasizes (and I shall also), this could and likely will change since these models are looking a couple weeks into the future. However, I would prepare now for some volatile weather starting after December 10 in Missouri. It's coming in some form.
