I-72 Road Work Ahead

PIKE COUNTY, Ill. -- Road work along Interstate 72 will shut down one lane of traffic for the next six months.
IDOT says construction will begin this week about 2 miles east of Illinois 96 north of Kinderhook.
Crews will be stabilizing a slope failure and will close one lane of west bound traffic.
Work on the $1.1 million project is expected to complete by the middle of September.
