The 48th Annual BLP Holiday Gift Show has been canceled due to COVID-19, here is what you need to know...

As we sit here in mid August it's hard to think that we have been dealing with COVID-19 since March, and it is still canceling popular community events left and right. This time due to COVID-19 concerns a very popular long standing event scheduled for November has been canceled.

The Palmyra Chamber of Commerce posted on their Facebook page today an announcement stating the 48th Annual BLP Holiday Gift Show has been canceled, their post says...

"The BLP Women’s Club of Palmyra has canceled the 48th Annual BLP Holiday Gift Show that was to be held in November at the Palmyra High School. Organizers have been monitoring current health and safety concerns due to COVID-19. “It was a very difficult decision to make. We are very proud of the quality of merchandise that vendors from the tri-state area has to offer to the community, “ shares Brooks Ragar, Gift Show Chairman. “ The safety of our members, vendors, and those in attendance is most important.”"

They went on to say later in their post that the event has already established dates for their show next year, saying you should mark your calendars for the event to take place November 13th 2021. It is really hard to think back when COVID-19 first sent us into a shut down back in March that we would be canceling events in November because of it, but that is where we find ourselves today.
