HLGU Commencement Saturday, New President Chosen

(Hannibal) – Hannibal LaGrange University celebrated its commencement this (Saturday) morning.

Dr. Burt came 36 years ago as a member of the faculty. He held a number of other positions with the school, serving as president since 1995.
About 200 students received their degrees from Hannibal-LaGrange  Saturday morning.

Allen to Take HLGU Helm in Fall

As HLGU graduates embark on new endeavors after Saturday’s commencement, Anthony W. Allen has accepted the challenge of leading the University as its new President this fall.  Allen becomes the 17th president of the school and comes to Hannibal from Midwest Baptist Theological Seminary in Kansas City.
