(BOWLING GREEN)-  A Monroe City man accused of leading authorities on a two-state chase may enter a plea on September 25th.    Arraignment for 61-year-old Clifford G. Lewis of Monroe City had been scheduled for Tuesday, but was continued until next week. He is accused of multiple charges, including aggravated fleeing and reckless driving.

Authorities say Lewis led them on a 45-mile, two-state chase after he allegedly stole a tow truck in Louisiana on August 15th.    The vehicle reportedly nicked the Champ Clark Bridge, but caused no damage. The driver fled south into Illinois until a roadblock near Batchtown forced the truck to stop.
