(HANNIBAL)—Hannibal Police made three arrests Wednesday on counterfeiting charges. A search warrant was used Wednesday afternoon at the Mark Twain Motor Inn at 3603 McMasters. Hannibal Police detectives recovered a significant amount of counterfeit bills ranging from small denominations up through 100 dollar bills.

Computer equipment and supplies commonly used in counterfeiting were seized as evidence. Arrested were 24-year-old Jeffery McBride of Hannibal, 19-year-old Samuel McBride of Hull and 25-year-old Ashley Crane of Palmyra. Crane was released after questioning. Jeffery and Samuel McBride were taken to the Marion County Jail.
