(Hannibal)—Tuesday’s Hannibal City Council agenda includes a special flag presentation.

A flag flown over an Army base in Afghanistan is scheduled to be presented to the City during Tuesday night’s council meeting.  (More on this and the "story behind the story" following tonight's meeting.)

In other business, Councilman Mike Dobson will speak on extending the Main Street asphalt overlay project to a portion of North Street.

A Second and Final Reading is planned for a Bill rezoning property at 207A North 5th Street from commercial to multi-family.

Flood buyouts of 700 South Main, 322 South 8th, and 400 South 11th are up for Second and Final Reading as well.

A Resolution to spend up to $30,000 for engineering analysis at the Community Pool also appears on the agenda.

Following the regular meeting, the council will meet in closed session.
