The Hannibal Board of Public Works is in the midst of celebrating Public Utilities Week with a number of activities around the community.

City and BPW employees are taking part in multiple service projects to mark the week.

They spent Tuesday at Riverside Cemetery doing lawn maintenance. On Wednesday, BPW workers will help with property clean up at the NEMO Sheltered Workshop.

The Board of Public Works’ customer appreciation day is Thursday from 11:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. in Central Park.
