The Hannibal Board of Public Works hosts a public hearing on its budget for the next fiscal year Monday evening.

The proposed budget for the 2018-19 fiscal year calls for a hike in water and sewer rates for BPW customers.

A hike of about $2.50 per month is anticipated in the average water bill, with a hike of about a dollar-fifty per month on sewer bills.

The meeting starts at 6 p.m. in the BPW conference room on Industrial Loop Drive.
