Griggsville Teen Hurt in Car-Semi Crash Friday

A Griggsville teenager is hurt in a car-semi crash on Highway 54 at Airport Road north of Pittsfield at 8:05 a.m. Friday.

The Illinois State Police reports a 17 year old female from Griggsville was southbound when her car crossed the center line and collided with a northbound semi, driven by 48 year old Bryan Davis of Eolia.

Davis was not hurt. The 17 year old was taken by Air Evac to Blessing Hospital for treatment. The extent of her injuries was not immediately known.

The teen was also ticketed for improper lane usage.
