Freak Accident Injures Hannibal Man

(ELDON)—A Hannibal man is recovering from moderate injuries after a freak accident on US 54 near Eldon at 8:15 Monday evening. The Missouri Highway Patrol says a tire blew off an enclosed trailer and struck a semi cab operated by 50 year old Richard Talley of Hannibal. The accident report says the tire struck Talley in the head. Talley was taken to Capitol Region Hospital in Jefferson City  for treatment.
