Former Menards Manager Faces New Theft Charge

Additional theft charges have been filed against the former manager of the Quincy Menards.

A new indictment filed two weeks ago charges Michelle Lewis with stealing more than $500,000 in cash from the store from 2014 till May of this year.
Quincy Police were contacted in May by Menards corporate security about a possible internal theft.

The initial investigation resulted in Lewis’ original arrest in May of theft over $100,000.

Further investigation revealed that more money had been taken from the store, resulting in the new charge.

A status hearing for Lewis has been set for August 7th.

Lewis is free on bond.
