Five Injured in Illinois 57 Crash

(QUINCY)—A three vehicle crash on Illinois 57 north of Bangert Road at 5:14 Sunday afternoon results in injuries for all three drivers and two passengers.

Adams County Sheriff’s deputies say a pickup driven by 31-year-old James Cook of Canton crossed the center line and hit a car driven by 28-year-old Michael Seabaugh of DeSoto Missouri and an SUV driven by 38-year-old Shawn McDonald of Quincy. Seabaugh and a passenger—24-year-old Meagan Hawkins of Richwoods Missouri sustained serious injuries. Both were taken to Blessing Hospital for treatment.

McDonald sustained minor injuries. Cook also received minor injuries. Cook is charged with reckless driving and improper lane usage.
