A restaurant in the small Mississippi River tourist town of Clarksville, Mo., has been destroyed in a fire.

KHQA-TV reports that the fire at Clarksville Station Restaurant was reported about 2 a.m. Tuesday. No one was hurt but the restaurant was a total loss.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.

Clarksville is known for its small antique and gift stores, and as the site of winter nesting of eagles. The town, with about 450 residents, is 75 miles north of St. Louis.
