Filing Period Opens For Hannibal’s Municipal Election

(HANNIBAL)—Two candidates filed for Hannibal mayor on the first day of the filing period for the April municipal elections. I

ncumbent Roy Hark will seek another term as mayor. Former third ward councilman Lou Barta has also filed to run for mayor.

In the second ward city council race, incumbent Michael Dobson files as does challenger Jennifer Foster.

Barry Louderman files for re-election in the fourth ward. Voters in the sixth ward will also pick someone to fill the remainder of former councilman Dr. Richard Draper’s term.
