One of the nation's largest Fourth of July celebrations is moving to a new location.

Fair St. Louis is traditionally held on the grounds of the Gateway Arch. This year, with the area of the Arch in the midst of a multi-million-dollar renovation, the Independence Day festival will move to Art Hill in Forest Park.

The fair will be July 3 through July 5 and will include the typical lineup of events, including concerts and fireworks. The location change was made official in an announcement Wednesday night.

Also Wednesday, it was announced that Lori Thaman is the new executive director for the Fair St. Louis Foundation. She has been a volunteer on the fair's organizing committee for several years.
