Eolia Couple Facing Assault Charges Given New Judge

(BOWLING GREEN)--   A new judge has been assigned to the case of an Eolia husband and wife accused of assault.

Timothy and Amie Kimmel each face two counts of assault after authorities said a verbal argument turned violent. The incident happened last March 11 near the community center in Eolia.

Amie Kimmel allegedly stabbed a man in the stomach with a knife. A short time later, Timothy Kimmel allegedly hit the man in the stomach with a metal object. The victim was hospitalized.

A hearing set for Monday has been cancelled and a case review is now scheduled for March 14.
