Tri-Township firefighters responded to an alarm at Knapheide Manufacturing in Quincy about 1:30 a.m. Monday.

Fire crews arrived to find smoke throughout the building and flames on top of an oven in the factory.

Firefighters say the building’s sprinklers and alarms were activated and extinguished the fire.

No one was hurt. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
