Dromey, Goodwin Plead Guilty in Record-Setting Drug Bust

Two Quincy residents pleaded guilty Wednesday to charges resulting from an Adams County drug bust last September.

26 year old Kevin Dromey and 21 year old Emily Goodwin each pleaded guilty to one count of unlawful criminal cannabis conspiracy.

Goodwin, Kevin Dromey and 33 year old Karen Dromey, also of Quincy, were arrested last September 27th after a search of two Quincy homes resulted in the seizure of nearly two pounds of cannabis, several firearms, drug paraphernalia, two vehicles and $117,000 in cash.

The amount of cash involved was the most money seized in a drug bust in Adams County history.

Karen Dromey pleaded guilty to drug related charges in Marion County last November. She is scheduled to stand trial on drug trafficking charges in Adams County in August.
